Mariella Bonelli – Translator, Interpreter and Cultural Bridge for International Clients in Italy

I’ve been working with languages for over twenty years, but I’ve been passionate about communication and foreign cultures for as long as I can remember.

I hold a degree in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Modern Foreign Languages, where I also studied German and French. After graduation, I obtained a diploma in English–Italian simultaneous and consecutive interpreting from SSITT in Turin.

Over time, I’ve developed a personal and ongoing approach to professional growth: I frequently travel to countries of linguistic and cultural interest to deepen my understanding and stay in close contact with the living language and local context.

And in my everyday life… I keep studying: I watch only international television, listen to foreign-language podcasts, and read novels and magazines in their original languages. For me, it’s a natural — and enjoyable — way to stay sharp, stay current, and live the languages I speak.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked as an interpreter and translator in a wide range of industrial sectors, gaining in-depth knowledge of technical terminology and supporting companies and professionals in complex, often international, contexts.

A significant part of my work takes place in the legal field — an area in which I’ve developed strong, specialised expertise over the years. It’s a delicate domain that demands not only linguistic precision and procedural knowledge, but also the ability to navigate complex and often highly varied situations. As a Court-Appointed Technical Consultant (CTU) and Criminal Expert, I provide complete and discreet language support to courts, institutions and private clients.

In recent years, I’ve chosen to place my experience and sensitivity at the service of foreign investors and individuals who choose Italy as their adopted home — whether to live, work, or simply feel at peace in a place they love.
And I offer much more than language services: I provide competent and human support, built on listening, clarity and mutual trust.

Studio Bonelli Concierge was born from this vision — the desire to offer a reliable and present point of reference to those arriving in Italy who need attentive, prepared and culturally aware guidance.
